New Vac Replaces Boom Arm in WorkShops.

You don't see another use for this vacuum ?  Seriously ?  I could have used this vac constantly over the last few weeks due to small workspaces.  I have it now though.  To answer the question, i don't think i would ever consider hanging it up above a workbench.

Sounds like a lot of work to empty the bag constantly.

In a production workshop certainly, but in a small workshop could work well. Could be resting on a ledge or suspended platform.

But there is the matter of no variable power when sanding.

How small a work area do you work in to justify one of these, a C17 is the same size and has everything you need Including wheels.
In months to come there will be hundreds of these for sale on web sites under the heading "only used once"

Well mine won't be one of them.  Like to see you sling a C17 round your shoulder & going up a ladder with it.
