Finally treated my self to a new van. It's a bit smaller than the last but I was carrying far to much so it will do me good to have a spring clean!!!
Any way here she is! I've started the racking, I can post pictures if anyone is interested?

Thanks for looking

You can't hint at van racking progress and not put up pictures... That's practically against all rules of common courtesy :)

Sorry! I should no better....... Haven't had much time what with work & Christmas!

In picture order......

LED puddle lights that work with the interior lights
Fitted sound barrier & insulation (hoping to stop the tools getting so damp in the winter)
Fitted satnav with reversing camera
Under seat sub for the tunes

I've done more but no pics! I'll take some tomorrow

Heh David, looks like someone has nicked your wheel caps!  [poke]
Hey up Gary.... Haha, No recent pictures with caps on!!! Haven't been on here for ages... Thought I'd better show my face!

I've often thought it'd be funny to see the West Coast Customs guys do a "rack my van" episode of Pimp My Ride. Festool USA would get a lot of miles out of sponsoring something like that ... I can already see the fold out MFT's [eek] [big grin]

... take a struggling carpenter's crappy big old van ...

Someone told me that the transporters all have the same basic engine and even a bog standard one can be chipped to 150 HP.......

I may be wrong

Doesn't do good things to your insurance costs either if you declare it. And if you don't and you have an accident/claim and it's discovered...  [crying]

You are absolutely right! There are 4 engine outputs 88hp, 102, 140 & 180 The 88,102 & 140 have identical engines but the 180 is twin turbo! The main difference is the gear box all 4 models are different! If you get it chiped you automatically void your warranty....  [mad]
