New Woodpeckers DF500 mortise depth sleeves?

Seriously?  This is what Woodpecker comes up with?  Plunge spacers?

How about a Fastfix chuck for standard 1/4" hex ball detent bits?  Every Festool drill owner IN THE WORLD would take a real hard look at that.  Many would buy it.  Me for instance.

I don't know anything about manufacturing but if I did, boy howdy.

I like these better, they are metric :) (as are the shims). I think the primary market for the depth sleeves will be folks who prefer working in imperial units.

I've been converting to metric in my shop and finding I really like it (except for the challenge of finding tools). I'm puzzled in these days of CNC machines and "one time tools" why there aren't more truly metric tools available. Seems like a product like a router lift could be converted with just a few parts – I'd pay a premium to have consistent units on my tools (both for sanity and aesthetics).
