Next Festool purchase?

Would be ideal to avoid screws and pre drilling. [emoji12] I need to build a new bed.

IMO...

Well there are 5 other ways to do that too.

Everyone says, "The Domino is a game changer"
I have a Domino, and while they are good, they are not the only things that is good.

You already said you have the Makita sander.
Unless you really want to spend money, I would suggest waiting until you have a clear need.
I know that sounds like a judgement on the thread title "Next FT purchase", and it is... which makes no sense as I just received 40 systainers a couple of days ago.

I did do a couple of beds once, and used some stainless hardware that allowed the side rails to come apart from the head and foot boards.
I thought needed a Forstner bit and come hand chisels, and a hammer, but I ended up making a jig and routed out the channel.
While the Domino looks like a winner, sometimes one needs to move a bed.
Is you are dead set on the Domino, then at least put them in dry, and use a bolt on an Invis to hold it together.
Or a using kreg bolt/screw form the inside of the side rails is easier and cheaper.

So I can buy another tool and the MFT and get a discount?  I knew I could do that with the CT's (and did so), but had no idea of this discount.

So is this deal available at all dealers or just some?  I was at the shop in Missoula today and the person working (not the owner) did not know anything about it.  I still need to save up some more to take advantage, but dollars saved are always good.

Yes, correct. Any tool + MFT and get 10% off the MFT (US only). [member=57407]bigarm[/member]
