Started making these for families in our area so to have a place to hang and air out their children's hockey gear. Made these ones out of maple. Use to use a lot of screws, now using dominos. Much easier and time saving.

It no doubt depends on the child's age but at some point those little tykes have about four (4) times the energy of the 30's & 40's guys.  [big grin]

Thanks Tim. I Also make these out of MDF for families that can't afford the Maple version.

Hi Pablo. The finish is a satin lacquer that is brushed on. Between each coat I sand it with 320 grit and the last coat is polished with 0000 steel wool. Comes out looking and feeling like glass.

Your lockers brings back memories. They are fun to build. In 2006 I had the job of finishing a private sports facility. The building had a 2/3 size ice surface, a basketball court and gymnastics area. I built on site, 45 lockers from baltic birch in 2 change rooms that used a very similar design.

I'm late to this party, but hoping the original poster sees my response. With this extra time we all have on our hands confined to our homes, I'd love to build something to hold my equipment. This is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm wondering if it's possible to share your plans since I live quite far from you?
