No battery charger with Carvex 420 Gift

I am really pleased that my wife bought me a Carvex 420 for christmas. I tried it out for 10 minutes on some plywood to see how it performed - really fantastic machine.

Then the battery went flat and so I went to find the charger.... but there isn't one. I've got the version with no charger included.

I looked at buying the charger - it's about £80. Or alternatively I could try to send it back and order the version which comes with the charger.

Since I am thinking of getting the carvex accessory kit too, I imagine it might save some money to buy all of it in a bundle in one go.

Trouble is that the return policy of the website is that items are in unused condition.

I'm not sure the best way to sort this out.

Any advice?
 
wait until the new new year ring festool and ask to speak to Phil beckley I'm sure he will be able to sort this out for you.. tts will not want you to be unhappy

You should still be entitled to Festool's 30 day money back guarantee, used or not. I'm sure once Shane sees this post he'll weigh in and something can be arranged. If not, contact Festool yourself ASAP because your 30 day clock is ticking.

I think it's 14 days in the uk now, but yes I reckon you'll be fine on that score.
 
Oops, didn't see you were from the UK. In the UK you have a 15 day money back guarantee. This money back guarantee is given by Festool themselves and extends/overrides any return conditions the dealer might have. If your dealer is a proper, licensed Festool dealer, that is.
