I just got an email from Rockler advertising the Kapex (coming July 1). And get this: FREE SHIPPING! Wow! Wish all the Festool dealers did that! What a great deal!

It would be interesting to see a graph of Festool sales at Rockler over time. I wonder if they're increasing, or if they've plateaued. How many men-on-the-street do you figure will plunk down $1300 for a Kapex, when they have a hard time shelling out $550 for the DeWalt CSMS?
