I've been working my DS400 pretty hard. I even used it with 36-grit to get into corners when stripping hardwood floors awhile back (before I bought my Deltex 93, which is better-suited to this task).
Anyway, The front tip of the pad has broken down. It's a pretty soft pad to begin with, so I sent my lovely wife to Woodcraft and requested a "hard" pad, which she learned that they do not carry.
What's up with that?? How come both hard and soft pads are available for the other sanders, but not the for DS400 (or newer model DTS400)?
