No longer able to view member profiles?? Resolved

Hello, I have a question on the new policy of not being able to view the members profiles, why is this now in place or am I getting some kind of error? I get this when trying to view a profile "Many apologies, but you can't view just any profile." I hope this some error and that we can see view profiles because I don't understand the reason for having member profiles if we can't view them? 
 
I am now unable to view profiles as well.  Hopefully this is just a glitch that will soon be corrected.

This is not a new policy.  It was a temporary security measure I had to put in place.

I've written to several people offline who inquired about it, and I've slowly restored the member profile access for everyone.  There are numerous membergroups in this forum, and I had to restore access for each one individually, which is a bit time consuming!

Everyone should be able to access the member profiles now.

If anyone is still having trouble with this, please let me know.
