I just bought a CT 36 Dust Extractor yesterday, my old shop vac is a Craftsman which has a much larger hose that fits perfectly into the intake port on the CT 36. Will using this hose and attachments for shop cleanup and hooking up to my non-Festool  miter saw harm the CT 36 because it is not a non static hose.

Festool makes and sells non-antistatic hoses too.  Shouldn't be a problem for no name hoses.

If you ever want to go higher quality at a low-cost, Bosch makes a $36 non antistatic hose on Amazon that fits all festool tools.

I think the hose mentioned by Carlson Carpentry above may be this hose: Bosch 16.4 Foot Vacuum Hose, 35mm VAC005.  A couple of years ago I bought one of these for my Kapex; the hose is NON antistatic.  It connects to my CT26 thru an antistatic sleeve, which in turn has a length of Festool antistatic hose going to the CT.  The sleeve allows me to connect either the Kapex (with the non AS hose) or the AS hose on my boom arm which goes over my MFT3s.  Never had any issues, but it doesn't connect directly to the CT either.

Look at the hoses Festool uses on their router table - I believe both hoses are NON-AS.  If that is the case, then by implication one might assume Festool is saying it is ok to connect a NON-AS hose to a CT.

My "soft" Ridgid hose also fits my CT extractor, although I never use the Festool vac for cleanup.
