I need a ripping blade for the TS 55. Something better than the included 48T blade for cutting up rough plywood, OSB, etc. I'd like to save some money over the Festool panther 12T or universal 28T blade, so I was looking at Oshlun and Freud.
Does anyone know if any manufacturers make a 2.2mm kerf rip blade? I know the Festool TS 55 blades are all 2.2mm kerf now. I only have the included guide rail and don't want to use a 2.5mm kerf blade and make the splinter guard inaccurate.
Oshlun's 28T seems to still be 2.5mm kerf.
Freud's 28T and 14T say 2.5mm on the blade, but the 14T description on the site says 0.087" (which is 2.2mm)http://www.freudtools.com/index.php/products/product/LU87R006M20. I e-mailed them for clarification on this.
