before i buy a kappex

i built a deck for my sister helen over the weekend  (left hand NOT AT ALL HAPPY for obvious reasons)

standard deck built on 47x95 (finished size) joists supported at 1220 centres

my makita LS0714 was capable but not amused

boy does first fix work tell on a second fix machine

Hi,

      At some point the Kapex will probably replace  my RAS and non-slide miter saw combo.  I will probably keep the miter saw for such tasks. Not that the Kapex can't take it, but why torture it with PT lumber and other stuff. The Kapex will  most likely be dedicated to my shop anyway.

      Time will tell, maybe two Kapex saws one for the shop and its ugly sister for the road ;D

DD, I built a deck with my Kapex just last week (or possibly the week before, I forget now). I'm sure I posted about it at the time.

NO PROBLEM with the Kapex - like a hot knife through butter. I was using 47x95 joists, and 140x28 boards cut at 45 degrees.

I'll post a picture eventually!!!
