one reason I like PayPal is that if you don't get a shipping notice & a confirmed delivery you get you $$ back period .
Way easier than even a CC# charge back
the secret to PayPal when at ANY time an issue  crops up start a claim the 1st thing  , even if a Vendor says they are going to take care of you , STILL Start a claim anyway ( cover Yer Butt 1st )  , PayPal ALWAYS sides with the Buyer & makes the Vendor prove delivery was made . Even if for say the Post Office , UPS, FedEx  loses  the item .
PayPal with give your money back , buying thru PayPal with a Credit Card then you have double coverage .
Don't let a Vendor say it's on back order or your prepaying ,pre-ordering , file a claim .
If UPS smashes the item file a PayPal claim as well .

the only time I NEVER use PayPal is with WoodPecker's "One Time Tools" as by the time they ship your past the time you can file a PayPal claim .
Not saying WoodPeckers would mess you up , but with a CC# WoodPecker's charges the CC# at time of shipping with PayPal you are Pre-Paying at the time you order .

This is extremely inconsiderate toward the vendor when you already have a resolution with them set to go. It does two things, it removes all of the money from the vendor's account for the sale, and it tells the vendor that you may not be an honest buyer. If someone did this to me, I would cancel the order and they could not buy from me again until they paid the $20 service fee they wrongfully caused me.

I was trying to get a few of those shipped over to the UK through a festool dealer a while back. It never happened I'm just glad no money exchanged hands.

A real shame as it looks a great bench and I know they would sell a ton of them here.

Yeh, shame ... I would have liked one, but it would cost ten times more than it's worth to get it to Oz (even if the company was solid).

I prefer the Benchmark's concept to Walko's - ultimately the Walko is more flexible, but for straight sheet goods work the Benchmark would have been tops.
