I bought the domino in December and I will say that I love the tool. One of my primary applications is to use it for attaching table aprons to the legs. Generally, the aprons are approximately 5 inches wide, 3/4 inch stock. I have been using two dominos in each joint, but I saw somewhere in a Domino "how to article" that the author only uses one.
So, my question is....I am I waisting tennons?

Thanks...

Maik

Maybe even three per joint.  On that kind of joint you're looking for two things...surface area for the gluing surface, and surface area for long grain to long grain contact.  What's the cost of an extra domino to add 50% more long grain to long grain- glue surface per leg?

Great...thanks for the feedback. My gut told me I was OK, but I guess I just needed some confirmation.
I am a newbie to Festool, having only recently bought the domino and a TS55 along with the CT22. I am now a total convert and my goal is to eventually replace many of my tools with Festool.

Festool does grow on you, it can also become addictive.
