Let's see if this works...

This method does not work on Safari on a Mac.  The only way I can get an inline image is to use the inserting# tag.

Yeah, a software tech is definitely on this site. Not working on MAC or safari is cutting half the market out. I didn't know anybody still uses windows. teehee.

I prefer to link directly to either of my image hosting sites (Flickr and Smugmug) and not bother with uploads.  This way I have control over the display size and position within the text.

What is the max file size to upload? The page says 10M per picture and 40M total. I'm having a terrible time uploading images and I can't figure out why. I have two images that are 4.5M while I think should be OK.

If you are trying to insert that size files you are doomed for failure.  That file size is useless on the internet.  You need to reduce the size hugely thru your software.  The limits posted are not accurate.  Reducing down to 1mb would be my suggestion.

I think it is working now.

Is it only me having constant problems with picture attachment? If I attach 5 pictures at once and preview message it says "fakepath". If I attach 1 picture and then save as draft the picture ends up under "attached". If I then try to add another picture and then save as draft it says attachment can't be uploaded due to too long time or too big picture (which is 2MB, limit per picture is 10MB). I'm very used to computers and different forums but this one is just above my head. Sometimes I succed, sometimes not, and I can't figure out why. The fact that "attaching images and documents" needs a separate underforum is a hint that this could be done in a more user friendly way.
