I *think* I sorted out some code to make the forum auto-rotate your images. This will only work if they come straight from your camera and are not manipulated in software that removes the EXIF data. Or, you use software that does not strip the EXIF.

Can one of the forum's headstanders [poke] test it out for me?

TEST....

This should be a picture of two cabinets I just finished yesterday for my sister.

FYI....I took this picture with my phone, emailed it to myself and inserted it into the post.  No resizing or rotating on my part.

TEST 2.

Here are two more cabinets I just finished up a couple weeks ago.  I took them with my phone, emailed them to myself.

When I open them on my Macbook they open sideways.  Again, I did no resizing or rotation.  This should be a better test.

WOW!  I guess I should start resizing the pics!  LOL

But Shane,  I believe that they were auto-rotated.    Fingers crossed.

And THANKS  Sal !!!

Eric I think you have this cabinet thing down cold!

Nice work.

And thanks for auto-rotate help, Shane.

Nicely done.  Just curious, how are you doing the doors?  I noticed the inside and the outside look as if they're cut from a single piece of wood.  I'm assuming it's plywood doors with what looks like cherry veneer.

I have noticed lately that a lot of the posted photos have been rotated 90 degrees to the right or left. In one post that consisted of only 2 photos, one was rotated CCW while the other was rotated CW.

Today I posted this:http://festoolownersgroup.com/festo...ite-kal-ii-set/msg440028/?topicseen#msg440028
and when viewing this post on a MacBook Pro, the images have both been rotated 90 CCW and when I click on the images to enlarge them, they remain in that CCW position.

However, these images were taken on my iPhone and originally submitted from the iPhone and when viewing this thread on the same, the images are rotated 90 CCW, however when enlarged they assume their proper position.  [eek]

I haven't noticed that as a problem, but I'll look out for it and see if we need to do anything.

I just take all my photos while I'm right side up?  [scratch chin]

Really...is that difficult to do? I've never tried it because it always seemed kind of scary to me. I guess I prefer the rectal-cranial position... [poke]...just a continuum of the out-of-sight, out-of-mind philosophy...

custom programming was required to cure the issue before.

Oh that's interesting Peter...so this demon has raised its ugly head before...it's not a big deal but it is unnerving when you view the FOG on OSX vs iOS devices. Especially when the photos are added to "clear up" an issue (a picture is worth a thousand words) and then the photos because of their orientation make it more difficult to see exactly what the discrepancy is.

BTW...Indiana is beautiful...
