Good to see festool has an uptick in quality ????
There should be no reason for something like this to happen in the first place , let alone need be resolved.
I've seen closer tolerances on Harbor Freight routers. I think the claimed response from DE headquarters is absolute rubbish.
Bottom line? Better use and thoroughly check out your Festool the day you receive it so you can return it within 30 days if BS issues like this arises. Bet if Ostap had gone through 6 router in six months and returned them all with the same issue there would have been a much different response from the mother ship and the 1010's in Lithuania would have been upgraded , fixed , ect... much sooner.
