OF 1400 Precision Depth Adjust "locked"

My OF 1400 Precision Depth Adjust seem to have gotten "locked" or stuck not sure which.

Loosen everything I can think of to get it to let me adjust... about to take some channel locks to it but wanted to see if I simply did something someone else has figured out wrong.

Internally it is basically a nut on a threaded pipe, you could have turned it in one direction till it you reached the end of the thread and tightened it in that positon. Turning the other way should free it.

I would also check if you have some debris inside the threads causing it to seize up. I try to keep my stuff clean, but have found especially when doing laminations I get issues with gumming up in some components. Like most tools,  the 1400's is pretty straight forward in how they are put together.  Try rotating the knob the opposite direction first and if that doesn't work,  do a little exploring,  I think that there is an exploded drawing in the manual,  if not, check Ecat.  If all else fails,  send it in.
