Hi everyone
just pulled the trigger on a of2200 but now I'm placing a separate order for a accessory kit is there a preference on metric or imperial, i work off imperial but considering the router itself is metric does it make much difference?.  The actual question i would like answered is whats the difference between these 2  kits 495249 vs 497656 They appear to be the same but one is $70 more. It may just be a Canadian think not sure.

any quick replies before midnight would be appreciated.

George

Are you sure of your first part #? 495249 does not work for me, I see 497655 (Metric) and 497656 (Imperial) as the accessory kits for the OF2200 router. In the USA anyhow, they have the same price.

I bought the Metric version as the other measurements on the router (depth setting ...) are metric

I think the 495249 comes in the Classic Systainer, the two I noted have a T Loc. I see all three of them listed at Tool Nuts site, but not other dealers such as Bob Marino, Tool Home or Amazon, which leads me to believe that Tool Nut (and possibly other dealers) still have some older stock available.

Thanks i see that in the photos just not sure that may be the only difference. I would imagine its worth going for classic sys for a 69+tax savings

That is a good savings in Canada, in the USA its $15.00. Anyhow, I imagine a dealer or Shane can confirm that these are the same kits, just with different Systainers. Happy routing!
