I've experienced two problems with my 2200 recently, they may simply user problems.
1) Bit became loose in collet - twice. Brand new double flute 3/8" straight bit, 1/4" shank, 4mm deep slot, in maple.
First time it happened I assumed I didn't adequately tighten the bit, but second time made me think something's wrong. Moved the bit and collect to OF 1400, no problem. This was the first time I used the 1/4" collect from the 1400 on the 2200, I'm assuming the collect is compatible ?
2) Chip extraction tube clogged when cutting with large profile bit. While cutting a 45 degree profile (with a 1" face, 3rd pass) the dust extraction tube clogged. The whole tube was packed solid. I use a CT 36 with the large dia hose, the bag is only 10% full , suction set a max. Maybe this is just a consequence of having a router that can remove lots of waste in a single pass ?
