I have a OF1010 that is maybe 2-3 months old. Today I opened the box to get an attachment out of it and noticed a light surface rust on the plunge shafts.
What do you guys recommend for them and should I use a wet or dry lubricant.

Air tool oil is the recommended lubricant for the plunge rods.
Brent.

I use Boeshield's rust remover than machine oil. On the coastal region I have to keep anot eye on my tools or the salt air will eat them up.

Same here in Myrtle Beach, is it Rust Free rust and stain remover and where can you find it besides amazon

Yes it's Rust free and I get at the local woodworking store called Blackwater Tool in Pensacola,  FL.  They're also a Festool dealer.  Also found it at Woodcraft in Orlando.

I just saw Infinity Tool is in Florida and they also carry it.

We are having a huge rain storm in Myrtle Beach. I wiped my rails on the Kapex and Router with air tool oil and sprayed the T9 on the blades and Router Bits just incase.  Should I have used the T9 on the rails as well.

I do use T9 on the post and rails of my  tool, I am also been using CRC SP400 on my cast iron parts that don't need to have a slippery surface.
