Woodworkers and tool junkies are like little boys (so says my wife) and want things under the tree if they will fit.

What do you wish for this holiday season?

Peter

My list is long and festinguished.
UG set for Kapex
Parallel guide set
And I know that I got the Centrotec installers set
Actually the list way longer and all Festools but these are the main things I would like

My dad always said wish in hand and s_ _ _ I the other and see which fills up faster.

I asked for and am hopefully getting a CT 26, with Boom Arm Setup and a MFK700 EQ Set

My Daughter let it slip that Santa thinks I was a good boy this year

So no Coal

Sal

WOW.  More than 11,000 woodworkers are members here and only two want tools for Christmas.  Guess that Santa will have to lay off some elves.  The economy strikes again I guess.

I suppose that I shouldn't do posts that ask questions of members.

Dear Santa,

I'll take all of the good NAINA stuff off your hands.  I'm sure Festool can't hold you to their sales territory rules!

I like the way you think Ken. [big grin]

Santa told me he is really taxed this year with distribution issues.  He was wondering if he could use your Fedex account to ship all those things to you Ken.  [poke] [poke]

Merry Christmas!

I'd like a Domino XL, Syslite, Boom arm, VS600, Centrotec set, OF1010, LR32, OF 2200, all of the CMS modules, TS75 and another MFT/3.

A few long tracks and generally several stockings full of accessory nick nacks, bits, etc would be nice on top.

There - now I've been really greedy!

Oh, a bigger workshop and a Porsche too.

Reality will be a bad shirt, socks and underwear ... maybe a book by some author I've never heard of ... a bottle of cheap wine ...

Well, I already treated myself to the RO90 and a bunch of Granat. Didn't want Santa getting tuckered out having to carry an extra gift  [wink]

Think I'm getting the 4' level. Finally decided that I've had enough times when that centering scale would have been handy to ask for it.

And I'd love to collect enough Festool Frequent Flier points and get the UG cart and wings.

Santa never responded when I asked about the CMS router module  [unsure]

Well I did ask for Bob Marino gift certificates. And a couple empty systainers.  And would LOVE a LR32 system.

Also....I bought myself a couple  NAINA shirts from Warren over at Toolfest in the U.K

So hopefully in a couple weeks a can pick something up from Mr. Marino    [big grin]

Peter,

Since you did not restrict our responses to Festool, I can tell you that I am getting a Delta 46-460 midi-lathe from our friends at the Tool Nut.  Not sure when it will be here but it is coming.

This is my second "major" purchase from Sean and his crew.  Great folks to deal with.

Neill

I'm hoping for a wera zyklops wrench set. The colours will match my festools splendidly...

Santa was apparently in the UK for a visit; perhaps picking up coal.  While there, he sent me a Festool clock and Toolie!  Cool Santa.  The jolly fellow is a member here, too  ;D (Thanks!)

Toolwise, hmm.  Some things I wasn't "good" enough to qualify for... actually, would never qualify for  [embarassed]

- Bridge City Toolworks VP-60 variable-pitch plane.

- Knew Concepts Jeweler's Precision Power Saw. Would make shell inlay ridiculously faster, easier, smarter.

- Phillip Marcou S15A smoother. Here's a pic from a guy with a fleet of Marcou; note they are used like they should be :)

Sorry for the large pics

I am planning on getting the MFT/3 and TS 55 combo for myself.  With the money situation being what it is I wouldn't dare ask for this.  So, being me if anyone asks me what I want for Christmas; my answer?  Tool Nut gift certificates so it'll make buying the combo much easier on myself.

I have it on very good authority that Santa was all set to debut his new CFDS (Centrosleigh Festool Delivery System) so that he could fulfill all the wishes of his Festoolies around the globe.

Unfortunately he had to pull these plans at the last minute as the UL would not grant him a license for using it in NA airspace. They said it just raised too many questions.

As for me, I have a list of Festools, but I don't hold any hope as they're just too expensive, esp. when for the most part we don't exchange many presents between the adults of the family. That being said, I may have purchased the Centrotec kit for myself thinking "merry christmas" to myself when I did it.

But you'll never be able to prove it.

I'll at least get one or two gift certificates to the local Festool dealer, and after combining those with a second mortgage on my Harley I'm hoping to get a TI 15 next summer.....
