What is the issue? Does the saw draw too much current?

I believe you have the choice of either. There are two electric modules available - one for permanent power, and one that switches on the vacuum in the same way as the main socket.

Now the question is: does the American CTL 26/36 have the contacts and such like the European / German ones do? Otherwise it might be a little.
