Old job came up today.

One of the sales guys came to me this afternoon hoping I would remember and old job where I built a display case. For some reason, I was picturing a horizontal unit, like in a jewelry store? Nothing was coming to mind. After a few minutes, I went to his office and asked for some clarification. He really meant more like a book case with glass doors. (Trophy case?)
I said, sure let me get my phone. I think I have a pic of the one from a school, from about 10-12 years ago.
With that much information, he could find the old drawings and I did find the pic.
Turns out it was from 2011, probably one of the first pics I took from a smartphone?
Before that, I used a digital camera, so I didn't get as many pics as in later years.

Looks good. What brought this particular job up, similar build needed? Going back through to your picture, did it send you down any old memory lane? When I look at pictures from that far back or further, I definitely go back to the build, my mistakes, my corrections, sometimes the client, etc. With it being that far back, I am actually more surprised that they still had the drawings.

The "drawings" are computer files, the actual paper copies are long gone. Easier to find because I knew approximately when it was made and even the name of the job. He came to me knowing I would remember doing something similar.
Yes, it came up as something to show a potential client, while giving them an estimate.
Memory lane....absolutely. That pic is from so far back that I was in two different areas in the shop after that, before we moved to a new building.

Awesome. Computer drawings makes a lot more sense. Even though most everything of mine resides digitally somewhere, in my mind, I still went to a stack of blueprints/drawings filling a room.  [unsure] Thanks for the reply.
