Couple of questions.

Why is this fixed cord instead of Plug-It?

Why is this model not listed on the Festool USA web site? Only thing there is the cordless version.

In short, customers experienced issues with vibration with the Plug-It. So Festool converted it to a fixed cord.

It's probably not on the FUSA website because it's being discontinued and they have removed it.

The original price was $1,475, the price now on the site is $1,349. And, it is still in stock, however we have low inventory.

Correct. It looks like Festool is discontinuing the corded model entirely and going only cordless.
