Hey there,

Whatever you do go with the 5 star stuff. We have a 6 star kitchen tap....looking forward to seeing the back of that thing. Bad mistake on my part.

I am not sure what the stars mean? One can never go bad with the hansgrohe stuff and that ilk. The installation can also cost a bit, and warrenty requires a proper plumber installing it.

5 star is 6 litres/min
6 star is 3.5 litres/min.

Hansgrohe is a good brand. You can see why I hate my 6 star tap. Takes forever to fill the sink.

Hi Everyone

An Australian gentleman has raised the issue of the cost of shipping the Parf Guide System (PGS), made by Axminster under their UJK label, to Australia.

At the moment all of the PGS have been sold to individual clients but it would make sense to have an Australian dealer. That same dealer could also take on the Veritas Parf Dogs as well.

This is not something that I should get involved with and so any potential dealers need to talk to Axminster direct.

The issue with that is there are already 2 distributors for veritas in Oz, carbatec and the wood works. My main job is sales, I can guarantee veritas won't be shipping dogs only to another party down here.

Sounds to me that one or both of those should consider stocking the PGS.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a place I could buy some soft close drawer slides with an extension of 900mm?

It looks like 750mm is the longest I can seem to find, and anything longer is heavy duty without a soft close mechanism.

It's used for some drawers under a bed to be filled with clothes, so I don't think it will be very heavy.

I guess the alternative is to go with heavy duty (to get the extension required) and then spend even more money to put a separate soft close mechanism on it?

Ideas appreciated.
