It's the Kurvenlinfix from Germany.  You can create curved templates using this tool.  Affinity Tool is the first distributor I know of in U.S.  Makes it very easy to create smooth curved templates without the need to sand to a line.  You screw to the template material, ie. particle board and use a router with a pattern bit to make your template. Sorry about the picture quality.  I used my iphone.

wow nice, got a link on how to order one?  I could  definitely use something like that. How much did it cost?

Here is where I got it.  They come in 1 m, 2 m and 3 m.  they also make a smaller, less heavy duty model. I got the 1 meter and it cost about $69 including shipping.  It also comes with the correct screws.  It's so new, it's not listed on their website yet .  If you call, ask for Sarah.  She can tell you about it.  Nice folks!

So this is just a flexible piece of rubber that you screw to your work? Is there any play in between the screws? I wanna see a video [huh]

Go to the 8:45 to 9:50 mark of this video from Hammer.  This is where I found it originally.  It tried it out for the first time today.  I gotta say it's one of the best non-festool jigs I have ever purchased.  It worked perfectly as seen in this pic.  You can see the holes where I screwed the jig into the particle board.

It's pretty stiff, attaches securely and the pattern bit made it work like a charm.  It will save me loads of time with no more need to edge sand each chair piece I make.  I'll just rough it out on the bandsaw, use double-sided tape to attach the workpiece to the template and the smooth the edges on the router table.  Every piece will be exactly the same.
