One Year On

Wow has time flown by!  I can't believe that it's been exactly 1 year ago today since I received my first Festool order - a TS55 and a CT26 and also the 1 year anniversary since I joined the FOG.

I started out with just 2 Festool tools and over the very short course of a year my collection has grown to also include:

RO150, CXS, ETS 150/3, ETS EC 150/5, MFT/3, TS75, DF500, DTS400, OF1400, CT SYS, DF500 Connector System, DF500 Domino Assortment, a bunch of Festool Clamps, 2 extra guide rails, the Festool 3.5mm Countersink bit, and abrasives.

What a slippery slope it has been!  I have really very much enjoyed getting to hack my way through some wood and also being able to participate in this lovely forum.

Wow, that's quite a list after only one year- definitely looks like you have an addiction!  If you find a 12-step program for this, let me know.

Congratulations and Happy Anniversary!

Regards,
Gerald

No drills?!?  What a slacker! [big grin]

The drills were just about the last thing I bought.  I thought if they had no dust collection, why buy.  But eventually I did and wouldn't be without them!

Maybe some vacuum clamps for the holidays...

Anyhow, happy anniversary and many more!

I might need a 12 step program.

I got the CXS!  [big grin]

I already have a Makita 18v impact driver and 2 drills. I also have the Bosch Flexi-Click that I really love.

It sounds like you’re already on the 12 step program!  By my count, you’re averaging one tool a month...well done!  BTW, you’re due for a tool for your 1 year anniversary!  [wink]

I blame most of this on festoolrecon.com!

Oh yeah, [member=101]Festool USA[/member] should know where to send my 1 anniversary tool [tongue].

Like you I started with the same 2 tools about a year ago. My list since then though... [eek] Must be a Northern Virginia thing.

Between your meals and your tools...you’ve accelerated this program.

That’s nice...

Next up for tomorrow...bone-in pork chops with apple cider sauce and the tenderloin.

Congratulations! It never stops - just when I think I am done, I "need" something else...it is fun and I still love the smell of new Festools!

Thanks.  I know the feeling, I definitely thought I was "done" when I think of something else that might just need to have.  Reminds me of how Steve Jobs would end his presentations:  "One more thing."

I completely forgot to include what might be my favorite Festool purchase - the Bluetooth Remote.  I love that thing!

Unfortunately not this go-around... [crying]

Seems like I took pictures last night, added them to the recipe and then promptly deleted them from the phone. [doh]

Some people....

Bummer.  There's always next time.

I practically never delete photos from phone.  I have 4109 camera images on my phone right now.  Lots are duplicates from multiple takes.

Congrats on your first year!

For me it will be on November 18. From November to February I purchased the DF500, CT26, ETS EC125, TS55, OF1400, RO90, LR32 Kit, KS120, CXS and lately the FS800, FS1400 and lastly the Vac Sys.

What else? It would be really really nice if Festool Canada send me a Pro 5 LTD  [wink]
