We seriously need Festool to expedite the miter and table saws to the United States.

Why?  dust collection and noise reduction.

Countless hours would be saved by being able to work on site.

Thousands of trips up and down stairs could be spared.

Untold amounts of lung function can be saved for me, my family and customers.

There is no other option remotely on the horizon.

Even if you do not need these saws, we Festool users are a tribe and tribe members look after one another.

George,

I applaud your enthusiasm and intent, but unfortunately you are "singin' to the choir"!   Although they will be expensive, I'm pretty sure that they would sell quite well here.  Festool WANTS to bring them here!

So why aren't they here already?   UL Approval.   Laws and regulations to keep out foreign competition and protect entrenched interests - companies that already sell here.   

Things will be easier when Festool becomes an "entrenched interest", but that will be a while.    It's still an uphill battle for them.
