Your brain?!?!?! lol  I never book mark anything  when  I want something it always has to be the latest and best if possible and so cus der is always new stuff coming out sites get out dated!  so I go out searching again and again every time I want something.  [big grin]

Heres the sensible answer!  Why dont you use a Email!  Start a new Email save it in a Email folder then just keep adding websites to it   you can access it from every where

i have the usual ones in my head but typeing it in everytime is time consuming.

shane . im not sure that would work
1 . my pc wont remember anything (no google tool bar)
2 . cant be sur eth ere will be google toolbar on other peoples pcs

Both Firefox and Chrome web browsers have built-in cloud sync for bookmarks.

Firefox: Tools -> Sync
Chrome: Options -> Personal Options -> Sign-in

Alan,

It doesn't use a Google Toolbar. It's a bookmarklet, like a shortcut of sorts. Nothing has to be installed on someone else's computer for you to access it. You would just need to log into your Google account to access it.

There are plenty of other options out there, just do a web search.

Shane

thanks shane il try that.

jmb, nothing wrong with that part. just using your head is slower

Opera has sync options as well.

You don't have to carry a USB key if you go the html route, just email it to yourself.

Not being able to store a bookmark is a software issue. Not sure what browser you're using, but clear your history, cache and bookmarks

what is wrong is my user profile is corupted or broken etc. it wont remember any settings etc from any program. when i start the laptop it take 30min or more to start up properly. needs a ful reinstall i would guess . the batery is broke,ram is crap,hard drive is small,

Yep, sounds like time for a new machine. You might try creating a new user to get you by. I switched to a Mac Book Pro about three years ago. I run Windoze 7 on a virtual machine so I have the best of both worlds. In my opinion the Mac Book is the Festool of laptops.
