Open tool box question

I'm wanting a nice caddy to tote around glue and aerosol cans.  I was thinking of trying the new open tool box from festool with this foam insert from mysystainer.  http://www.mysystainer.com/T_Loc_4_5_Aerosol_Spray_Can_Insert_EPP_p/158024.htm  Has anyone tried this?  How does it work?

That insert probably won't work in the Sys-Toolbox because of the center handle. At least not without cutting it and even then I suspect the holes aren't aligned in a way that you wouldn't cut some of them in half. It's made to go inside a SYS 4 or 5.

In looking at the insert and also one of the soon to be released totes I could see that you would loose much of the functionability when you had to cut the insert to account for the center divider and handle.

Slightly off topic - of all the Systainer inserts out there the one that I personally thinks makes so much sense is the aerosol can one INSIDE a systainer.  I had a friend who had an SUV where two cans of spray paint exploded in the heat.  The interior of the SUV was totally trashed and had to be replaced.  It almost totaled the vehicle.  Inside a locked Systainer the damage might have been eliminated or at least reduced.

By the way, I just checked and without any sort of inserts you could get 14 standard aerosol cans in the tote without any foam.
