I gave a call to Rockler today and ordered myself a CT midi. I bought a ETS 150/5 just under 30 days ago and decided that it would really benefit substantially from having that CT midi. Talked to the fiance, and she agreed. I asked if I could still get the bundle discount on the tool, and they said that it was no problem. However, the store and warehouse are out of CT midi stock until April 9th, so I will have to wait a little longer to actually have it :)

But, I can't wait to have my dust extractor!

If you haven't already experienced a Festool vac you'll be in for areal treat.  Great vacs for sanders as you will see.  Plus having the cord and hose stored on board and still be able to stack Systainers, awesome.

Congrats it is an amaizing tool err i mean vacuum  [tongue]

I questioned my sanity for spending that much on a vacuum (i also have a CT26) but man are they worth every single penny. Customers also knotice that it is "hepa" certified! :)

Thank you :)

Oddly enough, everywhere I read, it says that the dealer should register the tool when they sell it to you. However, when I called Rockler, they said that they do not. So, how do I register my tools?

I am sure Festool will answer, but I think that Rockler does it at the corporate HQ automatically, at least they did a few years ago when I bought a sander from them.  I always keep my receipts for this stuff just in case as a back-up.  Congrats on getting a CT -- they are amazing extractors and will make using your tools that much more enjoyable.

There's a card in the manual.

That card is for you to keep for your records. The dealer is supposed to register the tools.

Well, say they didn't. Can I do it myself?

I suspect you can or just keep the receipt.

That's my first folly. Fiancé tossed my receipt. It happens. I'm hoping there is some way to register my tool because I bought my TS55 from Rockler awhile ago, but I still have my receipt for that one.
