I'd like to do some finger pulls within some relief cuts on a door face. I saw a video on youtube using this style bit, but I can't find one like it in the US. Half of a stile and rail set looks close, but I'm pretty sure it would be too small. Is this kind of bit called something different in the US?

The bearing position is the difficult part.

CMT has a few inverted ogee bits that might get you close.

Whiteside offers bearings and stop collars for the shank.  Not seeing any bits with the correct profile though.  There is a raised panel bit with a back cutter.  Maybe if you could buy just the back cutter, arbor, and bearings?

[member=71220]Sourwould[/member] can you please post a link to that video?

The problem is getting a bit this big. The bit pictured had an 11 mm radius, but I'm only finding 6 mm from the usual sources.

Thanks for the link, sorry for having no clue where to source that particular cutter.

What I dislike about that profile is the back corner (that'll be unfun to clean) so I would use a cutter with a slightly rounded back. But it might be a good form (compared to a rounded back corner, as of being deeper at the back) in case a relevant part of the humans who'll use it have impractical long fingernails...

I think the shape would be okay if the finger pull was on the bottom of the drawer face, upside down.

That's actually where I lifted that picture from. The 7/16" radius bit (which I think is for 3/4" material) has been out of stock for a while, probably because of the youtube video.

[member=71220]Sourwould[/member] Did you find a good solution? Did you try the CMT 855.802.11 Ovolo Sash bit? I am looking into the same finger pulls and searching for the right bit...
