Well, if you've already got the 2700mm guide rail, like I do, you're making your way fine with a little extra care. If you don't have the 2700mm rail, then FWIW, and IMO, the 3000mm rail is worth the extra money in not having to be so precise when you set it up to cut an 8' sheet lengthwise.
