I'm still desperately trying to get my daughter to get her furniture out of my tiny garage / workshop space  [mad]

Ironically - I have both dominos and the three assortments ... but after the video I'm thinking I need to get a second self centring guide and that rather than get an empty assortment systainer for SIPOs, I'm better off just getting a box of each of the SIPO 750 mm lengths (in 8, 10, 12 & 14 mm) ... Probably wouldn't use SIPOs on any project under 8 mm.

SEE - none of that crossed my mind before watching Paul XL.

[mad] how come i didn't get a rubber duck with mine?

I had mine for 6 months now and i didn't think you could fill a 20 minute video about it, but you managed to and i watched it all!
Since this came up today i might as well share the gate i installed today to show what it can do, it's the first one i made using 1 custom width tenon per joint, instead of 2-4 regular tenons per joint as i have done up to now. And i must say this method is simply better, in this gate i placed a 70mm wide tenon in each joint, instead of the two 27mm wide tenons i would have used before. Goes faster and more glue surface!

That tends to work until Paul-Marcel gets his grubby hands on one for a video review.  Then I'm pretty sure electroshock therapy is the only answer.

Haha! awesome... actually, I like the locking mechanism.  So do your gate owners say "yeah, you can never have enough locks"?

As for the rubber chicken, maybe Peter can put together FOG-labeled rubber chickens for everybody!

Paul - I did not find a copy of that 'idiot sheet' in my box - is that just for NA or Arizona?

Timtool - I love the gates that you have made - great piece of work. Guy Ashley has made some beautiful gates with his DF 700. I have a gate to make sometime soon but it will not be up to those standards. I will use the wide Domino approach although I have been tackled about this by a 'standard size domino' fan who thinks that wide doms are not necessary.

Paul makes a good video, he's the reason I started to buy Festool, I started with the ro90dx then the of1400 thanks to reviews

I've had to buy the impact driver with out a review from him

Yes, Paul does a great job with these videos. I particularly like the depth he goes onto on the accessories. It makes these useful after purchase too.
