I think it turned out great. I have the cheap two barreled Kreg pocket hole jig - the type you clamp to the workpiece. Got it nearly ten years ago and it's perfectly fine for my needs. They do have a steel sleeve that works well.
Since you're no longer taking it to jobsites, you might consider building a rolling base to house the vac and a bunch of Systainers.
