I'm currently organizing my workshop and I do have work benches but I needed something that was mobile, outfeed table and clamp up work surface like the MFT. I figured Paulk work bench was the best bet. I'm using Baltic Birch plywood, I found company that had some leftover drop pieces, for decent price. But it was going to limited my work surface size to 35"x 60" which is fine by me.
I made templates out of 1/4" mdf for the sawhorses and side pieces which made it easy to cut all the pieces the same.
This weekend I'm going do some light sanding and apply a finish before assembly and drilling the dog holes.
I think I'm going to wax it, but I'm not sure if the will be sufficient?

Nice start, bluedog.  But it's just a tease.  You owe us a pic or two, and description of the top and dog hole pattern and construction of the table itself.  35 x 60 happens to be an appealing size for my personal use so I'm anxious to see how it works out.

Best - Gary

Sorry for the delay, I got the pieces sanded yesterday and going wax them later today. Hopefully I'll start putting it together in the next day or two.
The weather sidetracked me the last couple of days. I had to vacuum up over 150 gallons of water and dry out my basement. That was only water that didn't make it over to French drain. Who knows how much went down the French drain but it was lot!
