Hey guys,

I know the the PDC has an option of hammer drilling, but as I have the BHC I don't really need that function.

So are there any other differences between the two drills and which would you recommend?

No other difference, purely the hammer function on the PDC.

Because the DRC does not have the hammer function it is slightly shorter which some people seem to prefer.

Does the hammer function affect the performance of screwing? like an impact driver?

No - out of hammer mode it's simply a good drill.

If you mean using the hammer function to drive screws in, then no. All you will do is cam out the heads.

Have a look at half inch shy's review of the Ti15 video, he explains the difference between hammer/ impact  function very well.  [smile]

Also, the PDC has a standard Jacobs chuck unlike the BHC that has an SDS chuck
