Pegboard DOMINO Style

Thanks Seth. Took a while longer than I had planned on, but I'm pleased with it so far. Made a few changes and mistakes along the way, which ultimately will dictate a painted finish in either Festool green and/or grey.
It was achallenge for some of the mortises getting them placed exactly where I wanted, but that's what also made for a fun learning curve too.
I will be using a magnet glued to the surface to mount that Domino square plate thing accesory (can't remember what it's called), and I still need to find a home for the auxilliary Domino plastic base attachment.
One little nifty thing I did just tonite was mortise a 6mm Domino perpendicular into the far end of an 8 X 50mm Domino. Can you spot it? It was just an idea that I wanted to try to extreme this effort a bit. The idea was to try to use Domino's wherever possible. I even drilled a little hole on the end of one for my Domino wrench.
I was going to velcro the back of my Domino plastic container that I got in my Domino Assorted Sys, but instead made a little caddy to hold two of each in their respective holes. I prefer this over the plastic holder and now it kept in theme with it being on the pegboard with dominos in that the caddy rests on two 8mm D's.
There's still some tweaking to do. None of the dominos are glued in place yet, and some may require additional encouragement to fulfill their duties, such as affixing with hot melt glue a right angle piece on their protruding end in order to keep what is on them from slipping off such as may be the case with the quik clamps and the old style Black and Decker Gripmate clamps. The backer board is held with four eye screws to screws on my shop wall as I need to remove the whole board when I want to change flurescent bulbs in the fixture above it. But for now, I will see how this works and what has a propensity to fall off its home. I know that the Gecko needs adjustment for its arrangement. Will definitely rectify that one next time I undertake a tweaking which may be forced on me sooner than I expect. Lol.

I have protruding Domino tenons on the back of my bathroom door for my kids to hang their towels. The tenons are vertical, and I cut a notch in each one so that the protruding parts are L-shaped hooks. A little saw-and-chisel work and turning them vertical would be more elegant (in my opinion) than gluing something to the ends of your tenons.

The two that were holding up my Domino's bit caddy were needing a little security from falling over, so I ended up extending the Dominos by adding cut pieces of Domino with hot melt glue, and then adding with hot melt glue a small cut Domino piece to keep it from off off. I brought the new Domino brackets over to the oscillating belt sander and rounded them off, otherwise they were pretty ugly.
The Domino auxilliary piece fits a Domino perfectly in this fashion perfectly. No sanding only modification required. All Dominos on my board are sunk 12mm.

I'm just gonna add some of the pics and mention that the Faceframe Tenon Joiner Tool (Black rectangular thing) has a magnet I glued to hold in place, but still needed one little Domino on the bottom corner to keep if from sliding askew.
There's a pencil holder added as well.
I apologize for some of the shots being out of focus. Need a new digital camera it seems. [sad]

Holy cow what a great idea!
Two uses I had for the Domino:
I bought my wife an Apple TV package and the remote is very small. She has a hard time keeping track of the bigger ones so I knew this would be a problem. I cut a small mahogany block, put a domino slot in it and stuck it to a sideboard near her recliner with double stick tape. It holds the remote in a very handy spot and she knows she needs to use it because I took her excuse for losing it away. The slot is a perfect repository for the remote. It is even on a nice 22.5 degree angle (Kapex) to add a little cool factor.
Another use was in a medicine cabinet. Of course I used dominoes to assemble the cabinet but the four drawers at the bottom of the cabinet needed some way of preventing them from being pulled out all the way. At the same time I wanted them to be removeable if need be for some reason. In the dividers above eacn drawer I put two slots about an inch in from the front of the cabinet. I could then install the drawers and put dominoes in the slots sticking down about a half inch when they were flush with the top of the dividers. Then I did the same with the next row. You can pull the drawers out until the drawer back hits the protruding dominoes and it will just hang there tilting slightly down at the front. Two for each drawer makes keeps it square to the cabinet and very easy to push back in. If one does feel the need to remove a drawer he can push the domino up out of the way and out comes the drawer. You do need to take the top drawer out to take the bottom one out but who cares.
