I was thinking today about getting local festoolies together for sharing the knowledge and just socializing in general. It would be nice to have little mini clinics on how to get the most out of some of the tools. I know the domino is on my list of  "learning the finer points of using the tool."

Anyone in the area interested in something like this?

I just tiled it Phila to catch more attention . I'm open to anything in the area , New Jersey , Delaware  , Maryland and PA.  I was thinking about starting a local Facebook festool group . Are any of you on FB too ?

I'm located in southeastern Pa near New London (Oxford and Kennet Square area). I would be interested in such a gathering if I can make it.

By the way, Lie-Nielsen is doing a hand tool event at Hearne Hardwoods, Inc at 200 Whiteside Rd, Oxford, Pa on September 26th and 27th.  Both days start at 10:00 and go until 6:00 on the Friday and 5:00 on the Saturday.

Darn, I will be at my granddaughter's 2nd birthday in Atlanta. Second year in a row I had to miss this.
Look forward to seeing more information for a possible local group.
