Tinker, as fdengel said, Pica also makes gel and ink markers. We do also stock the basic lead refill which includes four black leads, two red leads, and two yellow leads as well. I picked mine up yesterday - after seeing builderbob's and dave reinhold's demo here at the store a few months back I had to have one! As previously stated by others here, the retention on these is perfect, not too tight but I'm not concerned about the pencil dropping out of the holder. A well made, comfortable pencil.

I'd say the retention is pretty good but I wish it was a bit tighter.  Just last week I lost mine while working in an attic in about 18" of loose fill insulation.  If I'd seen where it dropped out I might have had a chance of finding it.
That stinks Brice - sorry to hear. Could have been worse - at the end of the day it's only a pencil lost (and now you know where to get more). Could have been something far more expensive.

Seems like a nice pencil. The problem I see with them is there is only one. I misplace pencils more often than I misplace tape measures. I have a box where I try to keep  about 20 #2 pencils and over the course of a project up to half of them go missing. Most of them reappear when I do a shop cleanup.

Anyone know if you can get harder leads for them. I recently bought 2 , one with the mixed colours and the other plain leads. I find I'm sharpening them far too often. I'm used to an hb steadtler noris.
