pica pencils

At the Festool Connect Event yesterday I was talking to oodles of people standing in line to buy reconditioned tools.  I noticed someone that had a bunch of Pica markers in his product.  It turned out that it was Andrew of Artisan Tools!  I told him that I was looking for a harder lead than the standard and he handed me some graphite refills to try.  I can't wait!

  Well worth having and mine is in my pocket each and everyday - I had a habit of losing pencils and now on occasions wear glasses so the usual storage place had also been lost  [blink]......use mine with a 2h lead.
They also make a Carpenters pencil as well now

I got mine from Holz Handwerk in Nurenberg - not sure about UK supplier though but I am sure someone will chip in on this.

Also encountered errors there, but was able to add items to the cart by clicking the shopping cart when the items were shown in the list/thumbnail type view.

Before that I would get an error each time I tried to add something to the cart

I bought mine at WoodCraft locally. It has become my go to pencil for carpentry and shop projects. I love this thing. I am now going to purchase a second and the 'H' harder lead now that you guys bought it to my attention.

We carry the Pica Drys, ALL of the refills, including the colored leads, the Inks, the Gels, the Pica BIG mechanical carpenter pencil and the BIG refills.

We carry the Pica Pocket as well but are currently sold out waiting on shipments to arrive.

We are also looking for dealers to carry Pica-Markers.

Remarkably, After Artisan, I saw the note that Tool Nut had the pencils and went to order there and they also had an Internet burp. They answered me directly.

Some of these companies must wonder about a flood of orders only to find out someone on FOG has touted their product.  Orders for these pencils have apparently  clogged the system. My next try was to be Lee Valley but I did not get around to it. I guess now back to Artisan because I want the hard lead too....

Yes, so much is your fault... I have spent more money on your "passing info I got" suggestions and mentions ( eg. TSO and now Pica pens,) then anyone else on FOG. Perhaps you should have a blog for your reviews and suggestions. I would instantly subscribe based on your credibility.

Artisan site is still down, still registering error message when attempting to order. I wrote them but no answer yet.
