pica pencils

I bought a Pica pencil from Lee Valley and loved everything about it for the first couple of weeks and then it stopped advancing the lead. I bought another one which lasted about the same amount of time and it to stopped advancing the leads. It's too bad the lifespan is so short as it's really a great pencil while it actually works.

I bought a "Fixpencil" from Lee Valley and I've been using it for over 2 years with no issues whatsoever.

I've been using mine for 6 months and have yet to have any issues. I am a trim carpenter and workshop wood tinkerer.

I apologize for not posting this earlier, I thought I had, but we were experiencing a different "Index Undefined" error relating to checkout. We thought we also had this one fixed but it seems to be coming back intermittently.  It is only occurring when trying to checkout athttp://www.artisantool.co vshttp://artisantool.co. Deleting the "www" let's checkout proceed.

I bought a 3mm Fixpencil and a yellow top for it.  I've got some of the Pica yellow stick in it.  Seems to work nicely.

Now I can just look at the top and get the one with the yellow lead.  It'd be nice if the Pica ones had more color options.
