I don't get it...  Would much rather have the broad utility of an MFT table with an MFT top.

  I wouldn't buy one, but, I can see some value to this. It wouldn't be  hard to switch between the MFT top and the Pinnacle top.

The first thing I would want to know about this table is if the surface will line up with other MFT's tops when you connect two or more MFTs together.  IIUC, this router table top is thicker than the 3/4" MDF used for the MFTs perforated top, so this top would need to have a relief cut from the underside of the perimeter.  Next, I would consider how flat the surface would remain -- some bracing underneath would be important to me.  Passing these points, the MFT w/router could be left as a router table and also be put into service joined with other MFTs for longer guide rail operations.  Otherwise, I would think this option fall short of meeting my needs.
