Planex and Auto Clean - is it necessary?

Looking to add the Planex into my workflow. I currently have a CT36. I do not do a lot of drywall, but enough that I would like to have it. Do I need to get the AC? Would the separator be an option? Is the "auto clean bag" enough? Is the blast gate required?

Any thoughts from your experiences?

Planex seems to work just fine with my CT22.
I guess if I were sanding 100+ sheets a week like years ago then maybe the AC vac version would be helpful.
