Planex in North America??

I've been presented with a unique business opportunity and having a Festool Planex would make my new business venture much more appealing.  However, living in North America, I cant just pop down to my local dealer and pick one up. 

Has any one in North America imported one?  Is there someway to buy them here?

Anyone have another suggestion on how do get one?

How about sandpaper and supplies, how have people dealt with that?

Thought about it, ran the numbers and it is not worth it.

Always having to order sand paper from Europe was the real killer.

It is a really nice unit for sure.

Porter cable offers a similar unit for a around $500 and it's available today.  It gets fair reviews on Amazon for what that's worth.  You could have one in your hands next week.

I have one, I don't hardly use it anymore.

I found a good dry wall guy.  I think the planex would be a huge hit.

Yeah, every time I go to the drywall supply house they have at least a dozen of them in for repair. I am not saying that this is a testament to their quality. I am just sayin....
