Planex Package Promo - How to buy

I received a series of emails from Festool announcing special package prices on Planex + CT36E. By the fourth message they appear to have arrived at the final configuration and price for the two package options.

I want to buy the Planex CT36 package but cant find a single dealer (local to Boulder/CO- McGuckins, Woodcraft) or online that is willing to sell it to me.

The local dealers say that they are not participating because they have inventory of Planexs and CT36s that they purchased before the promo. No one i contacted online has so far responded saying that they will sell me the package.

I am looking for any guidance as to how I can take advantage of this promotion. Thanks.

Its not the Planex 2 so its really not a deal.  when I first saw the price of 1499 my eyes widened  [eek] then I looked at the pic and noticed no planex 2.  Thought I was going to end up with 2 CT36's for a second then reality kicked in.  [sad] JUst Festool trying to clear out old stock nobody wants.

Check on-line.  I see Festool Nirvana in Chicago has it  (they always have great customer service) also Toolnut and Beaver Festool in St Louis. One of these suppliers showed what you wanted on backorder.  Sulphur Grove Tool also has both on their site.  Just check some of the bigger on-line sellers and you can find one.

Thanks all for the pointers. Those are helpful dealers to know. Toolkit emailed me back that they does it have the package. Festoolrecon had a planex last night which I ordered. I will probably just order a CT36 separately. As long as the Planex can take extension handles I am good with that for my application.

The Planex in the promotion is the Planex Easy and it will NOT take extension handles.  The one now on Recon DOES take extensions. This Recon model has been replaced by a newer version, which helps explain the higher discount than normally given on Recon items. 

If you want abrasives, check E-bay and you will find a company clearing out some damaged boxes of Planex abrasives.  This is Hartville Hardware  based in Northern Ohio and they have excellent customer service.
