Hi
I got a planex a few months ago since i'm building a house and had lots of drywall to do.
When i received the sander, I plugged it in the ct36AC and was pretty impressed. this thing holds itself to the ceilling ! Satisfied, I put it back in the sytainer till this morning, but did use the CT36AC to pick up drywall dust from hanging the sheets and the rotozip dust around electrical boxes etc.
I clean my filter each time to and do 2 3 self clean cycle with the gate shut.
When i connected the sander this morning and turned on the vac, it barely has any suction power. If i unplug the sander and put my hand at the end of the vac, it grips it hard, like it always did. The CT is still running very strong. When i connect the sander handle to the vac, and put my hand at the end (where you would connect the head or extension) it has way less holding power already, even with the vac setting on the handle turned on all the way. i wont even come close to holding itself on a wall.
I sent a email to festool, hopefully this gets fixed quickly. any ideas ?? I did play with the suction adjustment on the head. Not any better, [mad]
