Platin 2 sanding discs

In reviewing the definitions of the various Feestol sanding discs, the use for Platin 2 is for "solid surfaces"  what surfaces are classified as "solid surfaces" ???

Think countertop material.  Man-made stuff like DuPont Corian.

 Solid surface materials are the man made materials - Corian, Avonite, Meganite, etc, composed of bauxite, acrylic or polyester resins and pigments. It's used mostly for countertops and tables.

Truck, Platin 2 can be used on a lot of other materials besides solid surface.  Metal, polish-able finishes, plastics or even wood.  Pretty much anytime you need a super fine finish.

I used them to buff up some laminate countertops.  Imparted a nice, kind of warm glow to them.
