Please pin a post on how to upload images to a topic or reply.

Folks,
  Please post and pin in place  at the TOP of this forum the methods by which I can upload my photos to the site (along with how to use those nice little icons that are scattered above). So far, search has netted me only two hits on "Attach a photo" and neither of them helped.
Try as I might, I have yet been able to figure out how to upload my photos! I see a place in the gallery section but does that count? Then how do I get them onto a forum topic? I am sure posters has asked the same question over and over but I simply cannot find a post to prove it.
I figured out the URL part OK but that too may have some folks stumped.
BTW, nice little boxes with pop ups to tell what they are by no explanation that I can find on how to use them! I am technical savvy but you have me stumped!

Sorry you are having posting issues.  For starters, you may want to look at the Gallery & Attaching Images section of the board.  There you'll find threads like, Putting Photos Into Your Gallery, Inserting Gallery Photos in Your Forum Posts and the How do I Insert Photos into a Post - Video Turorial.  These should get you started.

As to the nice little boxes that have you stumped, are you are referring to the row of icons between the "Font Face" and the "Insert Inline Image" boxes?  Or is there a different group of boxes that you are asking about?

Click on reply at the top if all you're doing is replying. Or, click on "quote" at the right if you want to include some of the comments that you're replying to.

To attach your images, click on "additional options" at the bottom and then a little further down, click on "browse" and maneuver your way through the images on your hard drive to the images you want to attach.

For those icons at the top, you can rest your cursor on them to see what they are or click on one and see what it inserts on your text line.
